I cannot say that I have a valid excuse for my long absence. I'm still alive and well.

I'm currently on vacation with my family. We drove up to Washington (state) to visit old friends. Tomorrow, we leave for our cruise to Alaska. I've heard a handful of positive comments about it. I'm optimistic about this family trip.

A friend of mine from high school contacted me a while ago because he needed headshots for his portfolio. It was refreshing to get back into the rhythm of things as a photographer. I truly missed it. It's rather miserable to just see my camera gather dust. Time to change that... It was time a long while ago.

Since my last serious photoshoot (previous to the one I just mentioned), my likes and dislikes of my photo work has changed. What I find appealing has changed. My style has changed... In my head, anyway. I'm almost hesitant to grasp this change and build off it because I don't know what to expect.

I return from vacation on September 5th, but I leave for school on the 10th. Hopefully, I can squeeze in a photoshoot or two before classes start on the 22nd. Scratch that. I will.
